MINNEAPOLIS — Northstar Capital (“Northstar”), a provider of junior capital for middle market private equity transactions, is pleased to announce its investment in Presco Polymers, a portfolio company of River Associates (“River”).

Based in Sherman, TX, Presco is a manufacturer of commercial marking products and customized vinyl films. Since the company’s inception more than 75 years ago, it has been creating products for a variety of end markets including the electrical, plumbing, utilities, forestry, surveying and irrigation industries.

Northstar provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment to help River finance the deal. The Northstar team remains committed to partnering with strong management teams and private equity sponsors in both good and challenging times.
