MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Northstar Capital (“Northstar”), a provider of junior capital for middle market private equity transactions, is pleased to welcome four summer interns – Emily Dobrindt, Andrew Schlitz, Toby Sullivan, and Kyle McDermott.

Northstar was able to expand upon last year’s intern class and bring on four interns for the summer of 2022. Northstar’s summer internship program offers students the unique opportunity to work closely alongside Northstar’s investment professionals. We are excited to highlight each of them below:

Andrew Schlitz

Andrew is a rising Junior at the University of Notre Dame where he is studying Finance. Andrew actively participates in the Student International Business Council (SIBC) and the Notre Dame Institute for Global Investing on campus.

Kyle McDermott

Kyle will be an upcoming Senior at the University of Iowa where he is studying Finance and Economics. Kyle is a Supplemental Instructor and is involved with the Hawkinson Institute which is the school’s undergraduate investment banking program.

Toby Sullivan

Toby will be a Senior at the University of Notre Dame this fall where he is studying Finance and Philosophy. Toby is a heavily involved member with the Investment Club, Real Estate Club, and Interhall Basketball.

Emily Dobrindt

Emily is an upcoming Junior at Harvard University where she is studying Economics with a secondary in Statistics and a language citation in French. On campus, Emily is a Teaching Fellow and a member of the Consulting Club and Club Swim team.
