Northstar Welcomes Summer Interns

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Northstar Capital (“Northstar”) is pleased to welcome our summer 2026 interns – Avery Lampe and Juan Joseph.

Northstar’s summer internship program provides students with a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to private credit investing by working alongside the firm’s investment professionals. Learn more about each of our summer 2026 interns below:

Avery Lampe

Avery is a rising junior at the University of Kentucky pursuing degrees in finance & accounting. This summer at Northstar, she is supporting investment-related initiatives and gaining experience across the transaction process. Outside of school and work, she enjoys spending time on the lake with family and friends.

Juan Joseph

Juan is a rising junior at the University of Notre Dame studying finance and philosophy, and a Wayzata high school alum. He is excited for the summer with Northstar, where he will gain hands-on experience with the deal process while also learning about the private equity and credit industries. In his free time, Juan enjoys watching sports and staying active outdoors with his family & friends.

About the Northstar Internship Program

Established in 2017, Northstar’s internship program has served as a training ground for more than a dozen aspiring finance professionals. The program offers an immersive experience, giving interns a seat at the table with seasoned professionals and hands-on exposure to every step of the private credit investment process. Alumni have gone on to impactful roles in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, and corporate development at firms such as Lincoln International, Piper Sandler, Bain & Company, Blackstone, PwC, and Cowen.

Northstar also participates in the Small Business Investing Scholars program, which promotes diversity and inclusion within the SBIC industry. The firm takes pride in the success of its alumni and remains committed to building the next generation of finance leaders while continuing to expand its internship alumni network.
