Brian J. Schneider

Brian is a Managing Partner of Northstar Capital and has been with the firm since 1999. He has extensive experience in private equity and private credit investing, with expertise spanning investment underwriting, portfolio company governance, strategic planning, and fund management. Brian is responsible for all aspects of investment management at Northstar, including investment origination, portfolio management, and administration of the General Partner.

Prior to joining Northstar, Brian held operations and lending roles with Norwest Bank, now part of Wells Fargo & Company. He earned a B.A. in Business and Economics from the University of Minnesota Morris and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota. Outside of Northstar, Brian is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys running, coaching, golf, and snow sports.
