Christopher J. Kocourek

Christopher is a Managing Partner of Northstar Capital and has been with the firm since 2009. He is involved in all aspects of investment management at Northstar, including investor relations, investment origination, portfolio management, and administration of the General Partner.

Prior to joining Northstar, Chris served as a Director for Lazard Middle Market (formerly Goldsmith Agio Helms), where he advised both private and public companies on a broad range of corporate finance transactions and advisory assignments. Earlier in his career, he worked in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand, LLC and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, developing a comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and extensive experience evaluating clients’ accounting systems and internal controls. Chris earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. Outside of Northstar, he enjoys running, playing hockey, and volunteering.
