Douglas E. Mark

Douglas is a Founder and Managing Partner of Northstar Capital and has been with the firm since its founding in 1993. He has broad experience as a private equity investor, with expertise spanning financial management, transaction due diligence, and fund administration. Doug is responsible for all aspects of investment management at Northstar, including investment origination, portfolio management, and administration of the General Partner.

Prior to founding Northstar, Doug served in various roles at Churchill Capital, Inc., including Controller and Portfolio Compliance Officer. He also has previous experience as a Senior Accountant at Charles Bailly & Company. Doug received a B.B.A. from the University of North Dakota. He is a CFA® Charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Outside of Northstar, Doug enjoys running, youth hockey, and volunteering.
